- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg (or 1 tbsp flaxseed + 3 tbsp water)
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- Pinch of salt
Steps
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add milk and egg; mix until just combined (lumpy is okay).
- Heat a lightly oiled pan on medium; pour 1/4 cup batter.
- Cook until bubbles form, flip and cook 1 minute.
- Serve warm with honey or syrup.
Tip: Do not overmix; that keeps pancakes fluffy.
